I remember doing beta testing for Text to Speech about 17 years ago. It was buggy. Moving forward, text to speech has improved a whole 360 degree. VOIP has improved substantially as well. In the last few install, I’ve used Text to speech to record main day and night greeting for customers. In the last 2 decades of installing phone system, getting a customer to record a greeting was like pulling teeth with a toothpick. With this option, I can simple type out what the customer want, choose a language, and voice option, hit save, and I’m done. Save me so much time. With Speech to text, if you are in a meeting, you can get the Wilidx phone system to convert the voicemail to text for you, and you can simply read it like a regular email. Amaze me how far technology has gone.
